I'm a writer, editor, broadcast producer, and communicator for hire. I've developed and executed local TV newscasts, live event production, and public relations campaigns for large, B2B tech companies.
I'm from Los Angeles originally and have made Seattle my home after a long stint in Portland. When I'm not working on a project, I'm reading a book, playing guitar, jogging, or thinking about what my wife and two kid are going to want for dinner.
I developed, pitched, and landed stories as an account manager at We. Communications, working on PR for Microsoft's software development tooling. I prepared executives and directors for their interviews, with pieces landing in TechCrunch, Fast Company, and VentureBeat, among others.
Before that, I spent years at TV stations in San Luis Obispo, CA, Portland, and Seattle producing local newscasts -- serving as the project manager and chief writer delivering content to audiences on daily, nine-hour deadlines.
I currently serve as a Contributing Producer with The NewsWorthy podcast, researching and editing their Special Edition Saturday episodes. I also contribute production and project management for Converge Media, an outlet focused on Seattle's Black community.
